I had an amazing time with breathtaking views over the lake and incredibly comfortable electric blankets to cozy up with at night! That said, the restaurant wasn’t open for breakfast, which was a letdown.

Incredibly beautiful and clean place, lovely view of the lake and mountains. Really nice building, great and brilliant location adjacent to a beautiful area with amazing views, lovely bar and restaurant, and the incredible lake hawea. Also, by the lakeside.

The facilities needed a serious overhaul!!! Worn carpets, outdated furniture, and a noisy bathroom heater. Observing issues like creaky stairs and obstructed views added to a dreary experience!!!

Quiet and best possible setting, I had perfectly pleasant time.
Location: the hotel was not far from lake, helpfully, and the Lakes and Mountains. The room itself was well-equipped and had unbelievable views over the lake.

Fine lake views from my room made the experience lovely. Unfortunately, the carpets needed maintenance throughout the hotel. The recreational activities like cycling and billiards were a plus.

beautiful view of lake and mountains from room
hotel was changing owners mid way through our stay so we did not see any staff except on checking in. No restaurant & no one around to pay/check out on departure. very strange

Although wet, the view from the room was magnificent. Room was very tidy and clean. Restaurant was handy and served good meal.
Wooden floor in room meant adjacent units were noisy.

Very nice and quite and very relaxing, what an amazing view.
We loved everything about it, my husband was most impressed with the glass jugs at your public bar. Lovely and friendly people, the view was outstanding, would stay there again apposed to staying in Wanaka.

Oh man, the grilled cheese was a game changer, so gooey and delicious! And let's not forget the amazing views of Lake Hawea-pure magic! Plus, the beds were super comfy, great for a restful sleep after all the culinary exploration.
The room is a bit small, and the walls are thin, made for some noise disturbances from the common areas.
